Promotion Grants

Have you got a brilliant idea for a Learning @ Work Day activity, but you need some help to pay for it? April 7^th is the closing date for applications for our Learning @ Work Day Promotion Grants. Twenty grants of up to £1,000 are available, download a grant application form.

This grant scheme is intended to stimulate activities to support Learning @ Work Day, a part of Adult Learners’ Week 2008, the national festival of learning. Grants are available to support promotional or marketing activities, innovative learning activities or to deliver bite-sized taster sessions. Priority will be given to:

• activities that are co-ordinated by small or medium sized organisations or by a learning provider in partnership with an SME
• activities that are targeting employees who are not currently accessing training or development opportunities or those who have few formal skills or qualifications
